The Bernard L. Schwartz Lecture on Economic Growth and Foreign Policy

About the Lectureship Series

This lecture series was established in fall 2002 and is funded by the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Foundation. Bernard L. Schwartz became a CFR member in 2003 and was the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Loral Space and Communications. The series focuses on two areas: the evolution of the relationship between business and government in the making of foreign policy, and ways for government to make better use of business in solving foreign policy problems and for business to become more involved in the making of foreign policy.
