"A website’s nomination for a Webby Award is a testament to its great contributions in pushing the Internet envelope." The Sixth Annual Webby Awards will take place this year on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor.

As a nominee for a Webby Award, www.cfr.org is also eligible to win a People’s Voice Award. Voting is open to the public from April 29 to June 7th at http://www.webbyawards.com/peoplesvoice/. People’s Voice Award winners will be announced on www.webbyawards.com during the Webby Awards Ceremony on June 18.

The Council, with the help of multimedia design firm Tree Media (http://www.treemedia.com), has overhauled its public website, making it streamlined and easier to navigate. “Highlights,” located in the middle section of the home page, include all the latest happenings at the Council. This area features meeting transcripts, information regarding the latest task force reports and polls, new fellows and appointments, and other topics of interest. The icons on the right side of the home page are links that take you to other Council-sponsored websites, like Foreign Affairs and the Council’s Online Encyclopedia of Terrorism.
